When it comes to hobbies, there's nothing I enjoy more than listening to music. I guess most people would naturally like listening to music. It is almost like something built into our genes. I started listening to music when I was very young. But I can't remember how young I was at that time. I like listening to music because I think music is an outlet for my emotions. When I listen to music, I feel all of my worries disappear right away. Recently I've been listening to some religious music, when the music starts playing, I feel like I'm standing right in front of God and he's comforting my heart. It feels just like 'Hakuna Matata'. Anyway, music is soothing, it is relaxing. It often gives peace to my mind and joy to my soul.

I enjoy studying genealogy, which refers to family history and descent. The basic objectives of genealogical research are to identify ancestors and their family relationships. At a basic level you can identify and record the following for each individual in your family tree — date and place of birth; names of, date and place of marriage of parents; names of children; date and place of death. But in China, this can sometimes be difficult because a lot of records were destroyed during various wars and military campaigns. You can, however, get a lot of information from your parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles and others that can at least help to try and figure out who your long lost relatives were. It is just interesting to know. I think that a lot of people think that they probably have some sort of relationship with famous Chinese writers, emperors, even Genghis Khan. You never know what makes it so fascinating. After you get some information together, you start to build a family tree that is a kind of like an upside-down pyramid and you would be the point at the bottom. This is a kind of ancestral pyramid. But to this date, I haven't gotten too far with it. Some people spend years studying this stuff. I have a friend from Scotland who tells me that his father is into genealogy and that he is in some way related to William Wallace, you know the guy Mel Gibson played in the movie Brave Heart, but who knows? I quite frankly hope to find out that I am related to someone who is really wealthy. I might get lucky.
